Big news for ration card holders- if you know, there will be benefit or loss

The Union Food Ministry has extended the deadline for attaching ration cards and Aadhaar cards to September 30. The central government has taken this decision at a time when there were rumors that ration cards that were not linked to the Aadhaar card would be canceled. The government's decision is expected to benefit millions of beneficiaries. Let it be known that there are still crores of ration card holders whose Aadhaar cards could not be linked.

The official statement said that all the state governments and union territories have been given the responsibility of linking ration cards and Aadhaar cards. This responsibility has been given to the Public Distribution Department on the basis of half notice dated 7 February 2017.

This notification is being revised from time to time. Now this work deadline has been extended to September 30, 2020. This means that you can link the ration card and Aadhaar card till September 30.

According to the statement, no beneficiary will be denied his share of ration unless the ministry gives a clear order to all the states and union territories. The ministry said no ration card holder's card would be canceled.

Let's say that there is a lockdown in the country due to coronavirus. The third phase of the lockdown will end on May 17. The central government has announced to give a total of 15 kg free for three months so that people do not face food and drink problems in this crisis.
