But the big news is that the Russian attack caught fire in a gas pipeline in Kharkiv, an oil tanker in Kiev, and a missile struck near a radioactive waste storage. Kharkiv is the second largest city in Ukraine. An explosion in a gas pipeline in Kharkiv caused large plumes of smoke to billow into the sky.

"The explosion in the gas pipeline could prove to be a tragedy," said Ukraine's State Department of Information, Special Communications and Information Protection. City dwellers have been told to keep their windows completely closed. The government has advised to keep windows closed with the help of damp cloth so that smoke does not enter the house. People are also advised to drink as much water as possible.

The situation is also deteriorating in the capital Kiev. A Russian missile has reportedly collided with an oil tank in Vasilkiv, 30 km from Kiev. Vasylkiv Mayor Natalia Balasinovic said the missile crashed into an oil storage area southwest of the main runway of the airbase, according to a report in The Guardian. No casualties were reported in the blast.

But it is believed that it may take a long time to put out the fire of this oil tanker. The local administration has appealed to the people not to open the windows here so that no one is harmed by the deadly smoke. As a result, videos of oil tank fires and smoke are spreading rapidly on social media.
