The incident of Thalaki Dhani in Kuchera Vista of Nagaur district is being reported. Where a peacock died two days ago. The peacock, about 8 years old, had a problem with one eye. He always lived with another peacock. Even inside the village, both of them used to come together to collect grains.

But after the death of a fellow peacock, another peacock sat by his corpse for three hours. Then when the news of the peacock's death reached the villagers, two young men came and carried the peacock's corpse in a cloth to the field for burial, but the peacock kept following them.

When the villagers were going to bury the corpse of the peacock in the field, the peacock also started following them. The young man was carrying the corpse of the peacock in front and the peacock companion was walking behind him. Someone captured the scene on a mobile phone and his video went viral on social media.

Talking to media about the incident, Ramaswaroop Bishnoi, district vice-president of forest and wildlife protection, said that different creatures were roaming on his farm. Both of them lived like peacock family members. The peacock would come and eat with him whenever he sat down to eat in the morning and evening.

He also told them that if he could not eat with the peacock when he went out for work, he would go to Risai just like a child. They did not even take any kind of water, after which they had to be persuaded. But now that one of the two peacocks has died, he too is deeply saddened.
