‘Bell Bottom’: Akshay Kumar announces movie new release teaser with an exciting
Akshay Kumar has unveiled the release date of his upcoming spy thriller ‘Bell Bottom’. Sharing the details, the actor revealed that ‘Bell Bottom’ is slated to hit the screens next month. “I know you have patiently waited for #Bellbottom! Couldn’t be happier to finally announce the release of our film. Arriving across big screens worldwide #BellBottomOn27July,” wrote Akshay with a short teaser from the movie.

Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, ‘Bell Bottom’ is an espionage saga set in the 1980s. Vaani Kapoor plays the leading lady opposite Akshay in this film. ‘Bell Bottom’ was one of the first film to start and finish its shoot amid the pandemic. The entire cast and crew of the film had taken off to Scotland to shoot the movie in a bio-bubble. Speaking about the experience, Vaani had shared in a statement, “Shooting for ‘Bell Bottom’ was a really fun and good experience. Despite the challenges with the ongoing pandemic the team managed to have a really smooth and safe shooting experience while filming with a large crew for which they deserve all the credit.”

Apart from Akshay and Vaani, ‘Bell Bottom’ also features Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles. The team had wrapped the film in October 2020 and ‘Bell Bottom’ was announced for release on April 2. However, due to the second wave of Covid-19, the movie couldn’t hit the screens.
Recently a report suggested that Akshay Kumar had slashed his fees for ‘Bell Bottom’, however the actor had slammed it as ‘fake’ news and producer Vashu Bhagnani had also dismissed the report and tweeted, “No truth to this news at all".
