A house party turned into a nightmare for guests after a sinkhole opened up under a swimming pool and swallowed a man in a 43-foot-deep hole. According to Global News, the incident took place on Thursday in the town of Karmi Yosef, 40 kilometers south-east of Tel Aviv. A video of this incident is going viral on social media. A Twitter user shared a video that showed the devastation caused by a sinkhole in an in-ground swimming pool. Local media outlets said that one person is injured and one is missing following the incident.
The video begins with the pool floor collapsing and seeping inward, absorbing most of the pool's water within seconds. A man can be seen sliding towards the sinkhole, but the others quickly pull him back. One of them, a 34-year-old man, managed to escape, but the other, identified as Kimhee, was later found dead. According to a Newsweek report, there were 6 people in the pool at the time and no one else was hurt.
