Retirement of employees

576. Shri Tejaswi Surya:

Will the Prime Minister be pleased to state:

(A) whether there's any proposal to retire Central and government employees after completion of maximum service period of 30 years;
(B) If yes, will the govt mandate all the central government employees in several states to:
(C) If yes, will the govt also mandate all employees of varied state governments for this and
(D) what's the aim behind restricting the service of state employees for 30 years?

Answer: Minister of State within the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions and Minister of State within the Prime Minister's Office (Dr. Jitendra Singh)

(A): there's no proposal to vary the retirement age of Central Government employees.

State government employees are governed by the principles / regulations made by their respective state governments.

(B) to (d): in sight of (a) above, the question doesn't arise.
