Vadodara: 150 other state workers reached the Collector office



As many as 150 foreigners from different states, including Uttar Pradesh, are stranded in Maktampur village near Bharuch following the lockdown of the corona virus. These people are in trouble without employment as they do not have a wage job. At the Bharuch district collector's office, a crowd of 150 people from across the province gathered to seek permission to go home.

These people push for permission at the collector's office, but they are not allowed to go home following the lockdown. Bharuch A-Division police reached the spot and persuaded the foreigners gathered at the collector's office today and sent them back home.

The laborer said to the youth: We have no money for 2 months now "I work as a laborer," said Chintu Chauhan, a resident of Deoria in UP. We have no money for 2 months now. We eat one day and stay hungry one day. We came to the collector's office but were not allowed to go home. I request my collector to send us to our hometown Deoria anyway.

The laborer said to the youth: We are laborers, if we work we will eat, if not we will starve. We go back home disappointed

"We have come to the Collectorate knowing that we want to go to our hometown UP and are allowed to go home, but here the gentleman is talking about not giving us permission to go till May 3," said Yuva, a resident of Deoria in Uttar Pradesh. We are 150 people. We are laborers, if we work we will eat, if not we will starve. We go back home disappointed.
